Vancouver
We started with a few days in downtown Vancouver, as well some of the nature in the immediate vicinity of the city. It was summer, and we didn't venture too far into the ski towns north of the city.
Calgary
We stopped in Calgary for a night en route to Banff. The most impressive part of the city was perhaps its Central Library—one of the most architecturally distinctive libraries I'd ever been to. This is how we should be building public libraries.
Banff
There's no denying Banff's incredible beauty.
Luckily, the weather held out for us for most of our stay.
